Hello! It's been a crazy past week! I've been workin' my tail feathers off! But I finally have some time to write a new post! Today I'll be posting a tutorial about slightly glam eye makeup that is work appropriate! Because you always wanna look your best at work especially when all you do is work (like me)..... but you don't want to wear too much or look like a clown, nobody will take you seriously!
So here is my tutorial for neutral glam eye makeup (with my new favorite makeup tool, WHITE EYELINER!)
1. I've already finished my face makeup, I use a Tarte Foundation with a Cover Girl Pressed Powder. And I use a Smashbox Primer all over my face and eyelids.
2. Time for my best best friend! A white eye liner pencil, I use Wet N Wild. I apply the pencil to my waterline, the inside corner of my eyes, and under my eyebrows. (please excuse my crazy eyeball in the below pics)
3. Using my finger, I blend the white in under my eyebrows.
4. Once blended, I use a skin colored light tan matte eye-shadow from Skinn by Dimitri James on my entire eyelid to create a matte and polished eyelid.
5. Then I use a fluffy eye-shadow brush to apply a dark matte coffee like color to my crease only. I used a color from my Skinn by Dimitri Jame pallet.
6. Easy peasy! The eye-shadow is done! Next I'll use my felt tip black liquid eye liner from l'oreal to line my entire upper lid and create a small wing tip.
7. Than I apply mascara to lower lashes first, then upper lashes. I use butterfly effect mascara by l'oreal.
8. And then to make the look a little more glam... I apply a natural set of false eyelashes.
9. And there you have it! A simple but glam look that's perfect for work or school! And it's pretty simple too!
I hope you enjoyed my first ever makeup tutorial!
Love always,
Scarlett
